Account Manager - Frankfurt
Position Summary:
This exciting and dynamic role within the Hilton Worldwide Sales Airline Partnerships team requires the successful candidate to work directly with our partner airlines to connect them with our hotels, with the responsibility of bringing business to those hotels, either in the form of crew, business transient, or meetings and events business. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team in the Hilton Worldwide Sales Frankfurt team, working alongside industry leading, talented professionals with a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise. The Account manager will also be responsible for researching and identifying new opportunities, either with new Airline Partners, or within those partners we already work with.

What will I be doing?
Planning Activities
- Develop powerful personal relationships with decision makers and influencers within the top producing accounts
- Follow measurement systems to track accurately the production of all targeted accounts
- Total account management focus where applicable
- Actively seek out new sources of business from existing accounts / new accounts.
- Deliver on relevant procedures and processes
- Develop the right Account Plans & strategies focusing on shifting unfair share
Organising Activities
- Plan necessary client activity and overseas trips where required.
- Develop account plans that specify objectives and sales activities to support the defined account strategy and ensure maximum opportunity for account penetration.
- Prepare updates to be provided on a regular basis, raising successes, challenges, and opportunities where appropriate.
- Ensure relevant updates are sent both to internal and external stakeholders
- Networking with sub account handlers and global leads where relevant to grow reach an influence within key accounts
- Strengthening relationships with key hotels and management groups and aligning strategies where relevant.
- Effectively deploy and ensure 'up-to-date and accurate' depiction of account based activities within 'Sales Force Environment'.
- Participate in annual sales target.
Admin and organisational activities
- Ensures business plan is followed and achieved providing feedback as necessary.
- Reviews Account Development Plans on a quarterly basis, updating records accordingly
- Develops and maintains Hilton Best Practice to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer account information is kept.
- Reviews customer base to determine new opportunities for account penetration
- Ensures Salesforce is kept updated with RFPs and opportunities
- Submitting and managing the RFP process for accounts, from receiving client request, through to contract.
- Assisting with queries on contracting or other stakeholder queries.
Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
To communicate regularly with hotels to ensure productive and effective meetings are established and customer information cross referenced and to ensure relevant hotels are well aware of the 'Customer value' when dealing with a tender coming from a specific customer
- Support new openings within Hilton where airline segment is relevant
- Support sales weeks and blitzes.
- Organize familiarization trips and support the hotels with client attendance.
- Host webex/ teams calls for the key hotels to support with conversion.
- Comply with Hilton's company policies
- Additional supportive functions as appropriate
- Supporting in the effective operation of the Airline Staff partner rate program.

Must be located in Frankfurt and able to work in Hybrid model. 2 -3days in the office
