Job Purpose:

Interactive Pro is looking for a Student Support professional to support students studying online degrees with their partner universities. The role is required to actively reach out to students, motivate them to complete the program and improve the overall learning experience. This will lead to higher re-registration and program completion - impacting both revenue and brand image. This role will have individual contribution as well as technology led activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer programme activities: Responsible for enrolling students to relevant modules, supporting them in case of deferrals/withdrawals/course changes, keeping students informed at all times about any updates to their selected programme by making announcements on the student platform or sending targeted messages through the chat system, providing information, guidance and support to students regarding submissions, enrolment and other
  • The Student Support Coordinator must know where to find information or be willing to find out where they can find it; often they will need to contact other departments for certain information
  • Documenting processes and tracking figures is key in this role where information must be shared with potential back-ups. PAs must be able to maintain clear and accurate records
  • Identify complex problems of student progression, ensure student satisfaction and retention through continuous communication and process improvement in cooperation with other departments and external stakeholders
  • Student Support Coordinator must work to ensure student satisfaction through continuous communication and process improvement in co-operation with the Student Support and Success Manager
  • Identify complex problems of student progression and seek advice on their resolution from the Student Administration and Support Manager, Academics and the Exams and Assessments Department
  • Serve as liaison with student organizations and alumni
  • Communication: provide timely responses to student queries across the different channels e.g. email, support chat, phone
  • Making students aware of policies and processes
  • Providing Programme Updates in weekly calls with Programme Leaders
  • Most challenging part of the job – The Student Support Coordinator position requires very good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines. Student Support Coordinators must be able to set priorities according to changes to their daily routine and the progress of the programme they work on.
  • Reporting: Student Support Coordinator reports to the Student Support and Success Manager
